The Problem

Payment Operations changes carried direct revenue risk: a subscription-status or billing-timeline bug that reached production wouldn't just be a support ticket, it would mean customers billed incorrectly at scale.

The Approach

Treated Payment Operations releases as high-stakes by default — building comprehensive test coverage across the platforms customers actually used, rather than spot-checking the obvious paths.

What I Built

Created comprehensive test plans and scripts spanning database, device, and cloud-based platforms.
Implemented Scrum/Agile QA processes using JIRA and Zephyr to track defects against release timelines.
Specifically targeted subscription-status and billing-timeline logic for edge-case testing.
Flagged and tracked critical defects through to resolution before release sign-off.
